As a member of the Westminster Symphonic Choir, he sang with the Philadelphia Orchestra and New York Philharmonic under conductors such as Leonard Bernstein, Kurt Masur, Riccardo Mutti, Leonard Slatkin, Zubin Mehta, James Levine, Hugh Wolff, Zdenek Macal and Robert Shaw. For four summers, he was a member of the Westminster Choir, the chorus-in-residence for the Spoleto Festivals of Charleston, SC and Spoleto, Italy.
Kevin was, for twelve years, an assistant conductor of the Raleigh Boychoir, and has been a guest conductor of the Concert Singers of Cary.
He is an active member of the Royal School of Church Music, the Association of Anglican Musicians, and the American Guild of Organists.
Kevin has been a Housemaster for several Royal School of Church Music in America Training Courses, and has been Manager of the RSCM’s Carolina Course since 2011. He is Chapel Organist at Saint Mary's School, Raleigh.
In the fall of 2012, Kevin founded the Saint Gregory Boychoir at St. Michael's, and in 2013, was appointed Conductor of the Schola Cantorum of the Diocese of East Carolina.
Kevin takes great pleasure in the opportunity to lead music in this remarkable parish, and celebrates the achievements of the children, youth, and adults who make music at St. Michael’s. He is also grateful for the vision of St. Michael’s clergy, vestry and parishioners who supported the purchase of an extraordinary new pipe organ, which will be played to the glory of God for generations to come.
